You as a Senior Java Software Engineer
As an experienced Java specialist, you will enrich and coach our international Java team. You design complex software architectures and find suitable solutions for new challenges. You always keep an eye on the quality of your results. You will also actively contribute current developments in Java Spring Boot and web development with JPA, SQL, etc. With your expertise, we will take our projects to the next level together.
Your tasks and projects
- Lead and further development of the Java team at two locations
- Development and implementation of modern Java applications
- Requirements analysis of customer needs and, based on this, the design of the software to be developed
- Creation of software architectures and comprehensive analyzes
- Definition of general and project-specific programming and code quality standards as well as testing
- Monitoring current technological developments and trends (e.g. through conference visits, further training, independent training, etc.)
Your strengths
- Enjoy helping to shape the digitalization of organizations with the help of modern software solutions
- Practically proven expertise from a completed degree in computer science or several years of professional experience in Java software development
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Java, especially in the area of Java-based web development
- At least 5 years of practical experience with Java Spring Services, Spring Security, JPA, Flyway and SQL
- Good knowledge of CI/CD technology (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Experience with test automation is an advantage
- Quick comprehension, analytical-conceptual skills and independent way of working
- Team spirit and joy in supporting each other
- Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
